I last minute needed an outfit (the wedding was in 2 days) and they had tons of options for me to choose from and were even able to make alterations for me immediately so I was ready to wear that weekend! I haven't worn the saree/blouse yet but the product matches the description online exactly. The blouse fits me perfectly and the saree is light weight silk as advertised. Came with picco/fall and shipping was smooth and quick. No complaints!
Amitha Fashions is a hidden gem in the Chicago suburbs! Before going to Amitha Fashions, I had visited a few shops on Devon Street. I walked out of these stores feeling overwhelmed and confused about what I could wear to my daughter's friend's Indian wedding. I decided to go to Amitha Fashions, and the experience I had there was so wonderful and fun! Kavitha, the owner/artist - she actually designed many of the pieces she has in her store - was so warm and welcoming! She was so patient and responsive to all my questions and concerns. I wasn't sure what would be appropriate for the different Indian wedding festivities and ceremonies, and Kavitha guided me through the whole process and made me feel comfortable and totally at ease! I needed a few small alterations, and there is a tailor conveniently located in her shop. Kavitha accompanied me to the tailor and made sure the tailor understood what alterations should be done. The entire experience was seamless and pleasant! I am so excited to attend this wedding adorned in my beautiful Amitha Indian wear!

Every time I go there the shopping experience is just excellent and consistent. Kavitha has helped me on all occasions and gives personalized attention. She is honest about her suggestions and listens to what I am looking for. She is in no way trying to just “sell”. They have a very good selection of outfits and jewelry. The quality is very good and price point is very reasonable.
